BCJC Home

For The Record is a compilation of noteworthy stories published in B.C. newspapers as a result of using the B.C. Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Compiled by the British Columbia Press Council for the B.C. Journalists Committee for Freedom of Information and the citizens they serve.
"For The Record" is a collection of 157 stories published from 1993 to early 1998 that shows the value and importance of the FOI Act to the people of British Columbia. It will also serve as a good reference book of ideas for journalists and researchers.
Hard copies of the book are available from BCJC for $10 plus postage. All proceeds go to promoting access to open government for journalists and the citizens they serve.
